I can't even explain how these mRNA vaccines, which showed 94-95% effectiveness 'preventing COVID-19 disease,' which was the basis for their EUA's, haven't been able to make Covid a distant memory.

The vaccines are made for the original Covid. Covid is evolving far faster than they can make and trial new vaccines. Vaccines for the Delta strain are still not authorized and we are way past Delta. Covid isn't going away any time soon, if ever. And there still isn't an effective treatment authorized for newly hospitalized patients. There is a lot of competition between drugs at every other stage of Covid but zero competition for early severe patients. Lenz will surely become the most important therapeutic once it is authorized.
