I will be extremely surprised if we hear any drilling announcements before the end of the year. I just can't believe word would not have leaked if some rig was headed our way 2nd or 3rd quarter. I have been picking the end of the year for developments to occur and if anything happens before then all the better. Just hate to see so many get excited over drilling expectations in March when all they are based on is rumor. We have no insight as to the legitimacy of the so-called "sources" and to date I can't say any source has been better than a shot in the dark. Still following my ERHC motto (in regards to speed of things getting done) of " expect the worst and then you can only be pleasantly surprised".
Now that I have made that forecast, I would expect some announcement at the ongoing Oil Conference re: drilling so I look completely foolish.
