There is still a lot of excess and poorly executed froth to be removed from efficient markets. I spoke of black eyes earlier this year or late last year. Here they are on full display of late. We are starting to see that as the multiple little guys (retail investors are taking stock of their losses) and searching beyond pennies. The ETFs? Plod along and enjoy the death spiral they help create by churning.

So... What isn't efficient?

Retail investor only companies traded on an OTC BB. The good, the bad and the ugly. Four prime examples:

When I look at a company that is diluting itself to death, that isn't what good looks like (RWBYF) When I look at a company that is using jargon to worm its way out of divesting in its core biz such as "going asset light" (MMNFF) that isn't what good looks like. When I see a company that has been a NASDAQ darling and has and is deficient for continued listing and WILL execute a reverse split at some point to remain listed (SNDL) that isn't what good looks like either. And finally, when I see a company with a market cap that exceeds SHWZ's with only 2 dispensaries, a third planned for at least a year and still not executed and yet, has a market cap that discounts everything but say SCG and two large dispensaries here like PLNHF, that is what WTF looks like as our company's mfg division, 30-additional dispensaries and multiple grows are selling for negative $ in relative terms! Finally, the Canadian and US MSOs with debt investment in stores everywhere by a rag tag pick a state with no center of mass and a cost structure that is out of control without Federal help...that without will likely never achieve an economy of scale isn't what good looks like either.

In sum, these are the sorts of things that make me smh and ask what market disconnect with reality? Taco Tuesday. That about sums up the whimsical nature of dope. Unless you count licenses to former criminals before those who never broke the law as a means of defining injustice today.
