I wonder too how it's going to play out.

IMO, there is a renewed acceptance that fossil fuels are necessary, that foreign sources of power (including solar) are a bad idea, and yet we need a viable long term climate/pollution plan.

The Russia sanctions may mean that there will be a separate bill involving oil/gas development - maybe involving CCS. Who knows? It's just hard to imagine that nothing will be done on the climate issue and that will be the D game plan for the November elections.
