As for US patents, he has three that are still not expired. One expires in 2035, the other in 2024 and the third is in 8 months. He has a Canadian Patent that will expire in 2024.

So, it looks like they are not of much value as people are obviously letting these great ideas expire and then they can use them without paying him anything.
