To sum it in 2 ways;
it allows investors to invest in certain US securities on the US market that my not be accessible in their country/brokerage account;
"In many countries, investors don’t have easy access to U.S. securities markets or, if they do, it is a costly proposition".
SS stays the same, your shares stay the same, there's NO conversions of shares to token nor, tokens to shares.
The "tokens" are just another vehicle for foreign investors access to U.S. securities markets/our coming companies that they may not have access to or "it is a costly proposition."
In other words, for us that do own shares,
it doesn't change what we have.
