I have a hypothetical I was hoping someone could answer. Let's say we do end up with a short squeeze tsunami, and many Hedge Funds, or any Institution taking part in short selling or naked short selling, can't find the shares they need to close their positions.

In my mind, correct me if I am wrong but won't the stock continue to raise while the short seller, is ultimately stuck waiting for enough share to become available to close their positions? And if so, wouldn't there be multiple organizations as well as retail investors, jocking for the same shares?

If this is a possibility, don't sell to cheap make these short sellers pay for the years of damage they have caused to our society, and all the lives they have damaged not to mention all of the collateral damage.
