I like this space... Most of us pay a ton for insurance through our employers even though many dont actually use it throughout the year but it is insurance policy just incase something bad happens. Heck, when I recently called for a checkup at my local doctor office the backlog was 3 months for just a simple appointment.

Just imagine if they could offer us a different type of insurance, a insurance policy that

(1) Offered quick virtual doctor appointment with telemedicine. If doctor felt a need for lab work they would be able to just prescribe them to be done at your local lab, they would get the results virtually and set up another appointment. Quick and efficient without waiting 3 months.

(2) for prescriptions i would love to see AMIH get a partnership with someone like costplusdrugs.com who is a venture with Mark Cuban to bring lower cost medication to Americans. A partnership like this would allow AMIH to offer virtual doctor appointments, remote lab work, and prescription medication mailed to your home all without waiting 3 months to see a doctor in a brick and mortar location, except for lab work.

Then for emergency care, well that could be a tricky one to ensure low cost. To many patients go to emergency care for day to day illnesses. Maybe AMIH could offer a supplementary insurance policy rider for those who want to pay additional.

I think their is a good value to businesses being able to offer a insurance plan based on telemedicine, onsite lab work, and ship at home low cost medication. I think AMIH is getting close to this point
