Vlad is toast. The Russian economy is in the toilet to begin with, the only way this invasion would have worked would have been if it succeeded quickly.

Russia will find most of the global economic powers, except maybe China, aligned against it. Putin's got billions, it's the regular guy Russians who are going to feel the pain.

Love her or hate her, Rachel Maddow had a good piece the other night comparing Russia's economy to that of various other countries
