What desperation? While some goofballs say OTC and pinks can be shorted, only the insiders have control of shorting along with their market makers. 99% of those short have nothing to do with shorting at all though. It's just the time it takes for a higher volume dump day in which they (insiders) must cover and the time the company delivers the certs to the transfer agent before they clear. That short is a two day clear process unless you utilize a long weekend with a promo the week before in order to create what looks like a short where coverage must happen between 3 to 4 days.

It's an amazing game to make the naïve think an actual short exists and think a short squeeze is on the way.
