Yes Steve let's hope Spectra7 will send out a News Release to confirm.
It will have a USB-C connector so if it is S7 technology I think it will be something similar as with the Nreal AR glasses. (VR8300 + VR8051 Chip or maybe HT8181 when it will be HDMI)

The PSVR2 will be produced by Goertek in China.

Goertek, Chinese manufacturer, will be in charge of mass producing Meta Cambria and PS VR 2 (soon!)

Goertek sold off Pico to Bytedance earlier this year, but signed a deal to continue producing Pico headsets

Also expected to supply components for Apple AR/VR HMD
