He took it in cash, for sure. The language indicates as much:
"repaid the principal of $1,033,000"

You think maybe he should get a bonus for covering the debt without issuing shares?
A novel idea. Free new money because of the method by which he repaid the old money. I wonder if the Board was consulted on the suitability of that payment.
An unearthing of the old "If it wasn't for Leo" chant seems overdue.
