Companies nowadays are scared sh*tless of getting sued and being put out of business for anything related to opioids.

The new CDC document helps them out.

However, they're definitely going to do everything possible to avoid being sued in the first place.

And that includes manufacturing, marketing, and prescribing abuse-deterrent opioids over non-abuse deterrent product to cover their as*es (CYA).
