Sector In Focus Street-beating earnings from Canopy Growth (CGC) gave a lift to the overall sector of Canadian licensed cannabis producers.  CGC reported a quarterly loss that narrowed from last year, coming in above the amount predicted by market analysts. Revenue dipped nearly 8% from last year, but the decline was not as steep as many analysts had feared. The company also saw sequential revenue growth.
