You're assuming cases are decided based on the criminal

scam!

I am assuming NOTHING!
The facts of the case are self evident.
The defence has pretty much given up on trying to obscure these from the jury (they have conceded he misappropriated cash in exchange for an agreement not to disclose that he erm.... wanked it all away...!) and has resorted to the Berman-esque tactic of distraction, confusion and obfuscation.
i.e." Look... He said he had a Covid test (he didn't) when he 'almost' had a covid test (he didn't and he still hasn't!) and that was an easy and 'honest' mistake that anyone could have made!"
.... yep ... except it wasn't a mistake and it was never ever "honest!"
When the SEC cottoned onto him... he attacked the SEC and doubled down on the scam, instead of giving up with good grace.

He was found out. Time and again. And so he's going down. And he chose the hard way. And so He's going down hard!
