Yooo - if Dale knew so much, why did he sell such an insignificant portion of his overall position? He could have unloaded a lot more. What is your opinion? Seems like he was stupid for not completely unloading, instead of brilliant (as you put it) for selling a fraction of his shares.
Dale had already made a ton of money on HGEN. The EUA was at best a 50/50 gamble. He would have been foolish to not take some money off of the table. Smart investors are not degenerate gamblers that risk their entire net worth on one risky proposition. If I were Dale, I would have sold more than he did.
