I Infiltrated The Group -- The App Works


They are indeed all over the Chinese app WeChat. I made it in last night. I bypassed an annoying verification hurdle.

1. It is confirmed as previous hypothesized. They are crawling all over WeChat with Yambaochou information. Not on Facebook. Not on Google as much. But "articles" galore about us. Pretty much self-promotion like what we found on Google. But just more in quantity but say just as little from my sampling beyond your usual marketing wine talk. Best, fresh, ripe, youth, beautiful, models, nice glasses, etc.

2. However, one article did explicitly state with English translation that they are GOING TO THE NASDAQ. That's the stated goal on an official "article" to my understanding. I like that. Once again, echoes my previous Asian experience which was quite profitable.

3. I did indeed find this App on WeChat. It's not on your smart phone which was my first impression.

I got into this same app. That picture of our spokesman is actually a video on it. The same video we've seen played here at times. It's all in Chinese, and my translator function on WeChat only works on the articles. From what I'm able to do so far. Maybe I just haven't figured out that function fully. It also pulls up lots and lots of our wine product on that app for sale it appears. You can buy it through that app from my perception. It's all Chinese though, so my best guesses so far.

I'll have to translate each page of that video in the link above, print out the screen shots, and hold them next to the app if I want to be able to read it. Just out of time last night. And too busy for that today, but I will.

4. There is another "official app" that I wasn't able to get into. Yet...

5. Elsewhere on WeChat we have LOTS of VIDEOS. Many that are on TikTok, but more that I've never seen before. A cross-polination of users. There are some of our familiar users. And other users I've never seen.

Many of the videos found on WeChat are the same as what we are saying on their TikTok. But there are others too, which I've never seen. And I've only done a simple one-word search so far.

And I saw a video posted 7 days ago that I've never seen before. It was of another store front that they walked into that looks like another little wine store. It was similar tot hat one small wine store we know about, but it wasn't the same layout. It did indeed have our product lining the walls are our spokesman on posters throughout. That would make two small known wine retail store if I saw what I think I saw. It wasn't one of those bigger wine-club things.

The only downside to those videos is that they don't have a translator like TikTok. At least, not that I can find. And, of course, they all speak Chines too when, in fact, they know English. Universal rudeness. I would have to translate it on the Google site through my littie Iphone, which could be done but I don't have that kind of patience right now. Just a little too annoying, but could be done. It's just not fast and efficient like a mouse and a Laptop.

6. You can actually reach out and call or chat with the group members here. I haven't tried. Just snooping so far, and not sure if there is a translator button of if they'd understand my English. Plus, at this time, I jsut want to snoop in spy mode and I think there is a way to privatise some of my settings which I'd like to do first. And I'm always saying don't allow intrusive things that WeChat wants access to, like location, or you name it. NO. Like Facebook, they are very nosy! And, err, yes, that irony is not lost on me.

7. Billions of users on this app. So we can come up all over with a simple search, which I haven't played with. I know with TikTok, I can play with the search and come up with all sorts of different leads. ON this, just a simple search. Looks like a lot, but on a percentage basis of WeChat, there are lots and lots of people for them to reach. The group will grow.
