1Path is searching for a Staff Accountant to join the team. This role works closely with the Onepath Integrated Services (OIS) CFO and team to assist in all financial areas of the business unit. This includes performing accounting functions surrounding job costing under the cost basis percentage of completion method, assisting with the tasks required for monthly production of Income Statement and Balance Sheet, and various other reporting. This includes interacting with payroll and making EOM payroll entries to the General Ledger, determining commissions for projects, maintaining Fixed Assets, monthly accruals, and overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure all costs are properly reflected on projects and the financials. Additionally, the position helps reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly, monitors project billings and related receivables, and handles various other related job duties.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting with Balance Sheet and Income Statement responsibilities.

Prefer at least 3 years of job cost accounting experience using the percentage of completion method.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills to include Pivot Tables, IF and Vlookup formulas.
Must be able to adapt and understand different software systems to enable efficient data gathering and analysis.
Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data effectively.
Good written, verbal communication and collaborative team building skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to handle tasks and responsibilities to consistently meet objectives and deadlines
