You misread my comment. I said that there were companies where the timeframe from start of infringement to resolution in the courts could be as long as 10 years or so. I did not say I held through that ten years. Much like this case, my attention was only drawn in much later in the game when there was a David vs. Goliath buzz about the infringement.

While I certainly did not hold for 10 years, my general takeaway is certainly that things move VERY slowly and victory is far less certain than message board posters would have you think.

Off the top of my head, a couple companies that had protracted patent infringement cases that were debated here on iHub would be PTSC and VRNG.

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
