I had my B&O experience in the 70's as well. Was making mega money trading bellies, so the cost of 'things' was of minor importance. That was prior to my penthouse to the outhouse period, however, and as a result, I ended up selling that ultra cool system for a song.

On thing for certain, however, is they sure had/have gorgeous looking/sounding equipment.

Ah! The good old days when life seemed so easy.......
