Last week someone posted on here they saw 2M shares being bought and there has been no news. Why the mysterious buying?
Yesterday, a penny stock promotion notice was sent out hyping up a secret play to be announced today.
This AM another article was released announcing this stock as a winner, etc....and if you can watch Level 2 trading....the Ask had large chunks of shares for sale. Once they got bought, another large chunk would show up slightly higher.

This is typical behavior of a pump and dump. At least the shares were not "dumped" on the Bid. But that can still happen in a few days if the volume dries up.
