Now, I have no problem expressing my ignorance on the North Slope type wells. My experience has been primarily in the Austin Chalk. But when "promoters" publish the "expected" or "proven" oil reserves, that has to be taken with a grain of salt. They after all are wantting investors. As for samples, they are looking for samples at the pervceived oil bearing strata and if there is a sufficient finding of oil that warrants completion, then whatever technique is needed will be provided whether it is fracing or heating. It is an interesting problem. I'm sufficiently invested to start doing my DD here.
