Letter to the Honorable David S. Jones Requesting an Adjournment Filed by Christopher Marcus on behalf of Breitburn Energy Partners LP, et al. (11/23/21)

Pursuant to the Memorandum Decision Granting in Part and Denying in Part Motion by LL&E Royalty Trust for Relief From the Automatic Stay [Docket No. 1185], “[f]ollowing the disposition of the issues by the Texas court, the parties should return to this Court to determine the appropriate remedy under bankruptcy law.” The Reorganized Debtors and LL&E respectfully request an adjournment of the hearing to consider the Objection due to the ongoing status of the underlying Texas state court litigation. The Reorganized Debtors and LL&E are currently engaged in discussions regarding a trial date to be set in May of 2022.
