Guess you will have to explain to me how you lose money by booking profits?

Leaving money on the table, always a possibility with these type trades.

I trade charts and not news. When I see stocks that make a huge run, I put them on a list and set an alert for a 75% pullback, then I watch them more closely.

After that it all about the price action.

The longer price grinds sideways the better chance it has to break out higher, short consolidations just don't do as well. All IMHO

100 day consolidations are not going to get the same results as 1 year consolidations.
