Sharing Knowledge in Smallcaps

What drew the fury of one of the old-timers over there was when I suggested that a copy of "The Intelligent Investor" (by professor Ben Graham) might make a nice gift for her son who was showing some interest in the stock market.

That was a totally reasonably suggestion. Many stock experts would say the same thing. But it seems that not many over there are open to the idea of reading books. I guess reading books is what liberal professors do or mask wearing doctors.

I certainly didn't view my suggestion as a put-down to her young son.
