They put out a PR saying they are preparing to ship Dragon Silk to Spydasilk which is essentially itself. So we’re talking about a subsidiary shipping to another subsidiary. Spydasilk … does it really exist? Why is Ben’s name still on the Spydasilk website? Why would they think anybody can’t see through this? They might as well be saying they are preparing to ship silk to be made into shootpacks for the Army again. We’ve seen this story before. I don’t think we’ll see any major movement until they upgrade their silly something really cool is coming soon website and put some professional information and graphics on there about people and products, etc. They may have a “plan” but they are nowhere near ready for prime time interest.

We have seen zero change in talk from Kings Group, M The Movement, or Polartec about Kraig, Prodigy, or Spydasilk recently. That about says it all, but that could all be changing soon.

Once the yarn and spidersilk starts getting other people’s hands, these others should start talking about it and KBLB won’t even need to put out its own PR’s. But they gotta ship it and ship lots of it and start filling the alleged sample and material requests and backlogs.

Eventually this could become what I’ve been hoping for for over a decade. But again, they need to get the silk in the hands of people who can actually make something with it and start generating revenue. We’ve seen this story before, but this may be the closest they’ve been to truly achieving commercialization.

Establishing a consistent supply of Dragon Silk by the metric ton is what is truly needed to breathe new life into the relationship with Polartec and others. That’s when things will get really exciting! But for now, it’s all just “coming soon” still:

Might get a little bounce at some point, but nothing like what a metric ton shipment to Polartec or the medical supplier would do with a joint press release. Something like that is probably very far off still. Depends on how quickly they can “ramp up” to metric ton production and be able to actually ship silk and not just “prepare” to or “plan” to ship to themselves.

Full disclosure: I own 1.1M+ shares of KBLB.
