It wasn't but maybe 5 or 6 years ago, there were still only a handful of folks out there playing RMs, or buying shells.
I would watch EDGAR like a hawk, reading through almost every 8K that came out, looking for any interesting information or mergers, then if I found anything perhaps pick up some shares.....but those days are long gone.
I barely even follow or read 8Ks any longer. Now by the time your done reading an 8K, if there is anything even remotely interesting in there, it's already been loaded by multiple groups and pumped over every social media platform that exists....and the tickers are up a couple hundred %.
So that method of making money for me is now gone....I used to dabble in Grey Market stocks as well....that is now gone.....Pink No Infos coming back to life....gone....the ways to make money are dwindling for me.
The only thing left for me are illiquid tickers, that have the potential for a catalyst. No one wants to buy anything illiquid...and no one ever will.....lol....but I don't care, as long as I can get them at a good price. Don't want to overpay, for something that could be dead money for a long, long time.
If you can get something cheap, its WAY more tolerable playing the waiting game....lol.
