The only reason to settle is if you have a damn good reason to settle. If there was such a damn good reason, settlement would've happened already, as the stakes simply just keep going up & up & up (hypothetically).

There has never been a settlement because there is no reason to settle. Pretty elementary.

And all the more reason to continually talk, talk, talk, about impending settlements, which is exactly what has occurred here for years on end and vplm has been the one to start it.

I wasn't just whistling Dixie when I said vplm has been doing this for the last 10 yrs. They've been promising settlements & licensing all along. Here's just 1 example:

"BELLEVUE, Wash., July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Voip-Pal.Com Inc. ("Voip-Pal") (OTC Pink sheets:
VPLM) is pleased to announce that in response to inquiries made by VoIP industry companies, it is
preparing to license several of the revolutionary proprietary digital voice technologies contained in the
patent portfolio recently acquired from Digifonica International (Gibraltar) Limited."

and further share selling bullshit...

"Dennis Chang, President of Voip-Pal.Com, states: "I am pleasantly surprised at the level of interest
shown by major players in the VoIP industry with respect to the patents held by our wholly owned
subsidiary, Digifonica International (Gibraltar) Limited. As the company finalizes integration of this
technology with our retail site, www.pointsphone.com, Voip-Pal.Com anticipates to be well positioned to
not only rapidly gain market share in the VoIP mobile phone market but in a position to earn tens of
millions of dollars per year in licensing fees. This diversification of the revenue stream should be a
substantial bonus to our shareholders."

All my commentary is to be considered as my personal opinions, to which I am entitled. And there is no proof of said opinions unless I offer it in the comments.
