nort_lorfer, with a mortality rate of 91% less then delta, omicron will yield less intensive care (and artificial breathing) cases. For HGEN that means that this variant reduces the demand for Lenz tremendously because it is exactly that group that needs Lenz the most.

Yesterdays rapport on the subject makes me doubt about the future of Lenz as a COVID-19 (even including the UK, Korea, etc).

Furthermore Omicron seems to suppress Delta and clearly contributes to group immunity building. Typically...more infections and more wide spread mostly means less harmful. If that is the road we are taking then I fear HGEN's COVID-19 revenue will be near to nothing.

It is possibly a little early to be absolutely sure. HGEN closed below 3$ and I think the above reasoning might have been part of the markets take on the subject, leading to more downside of the stock.

The above is an opinion and may be considered speculation on my behalve, although my speculation of sub 3$ and more precisely 2.25$ after the big fall when HGEN PPS was sub 7$, seems to have been quite educated.
