if there are shorts they get reversed too. i believe there are shorts. the shorting in pennies is off the charts. i'd say over 90% of the pinky companies have shorts (naked). AND when you get a company with 85 billion o/s and a .000x stock price i believe 100% of those companies are naked shorted (otherwise known as stinky pinkies or pieces of sh#t companies).

as for margin calls, since the exposure doesn't change there isn't a margin call until the SP goes north from the r/s price.
