I am with you on the Nov 15 article. It’s encouraging but if you read it carefully (not saying you haven’t) they mention at home diagnostics but do it specify antibody tests, BUT what bugs me is when they do separately mention antibody tests they exclude “at home” and only say “lab-based” and POC.

This isn’t bad news necessarily but it supports the idea that the FDA just isn’t a fan of people in large numbers at home with no medical “pro” being armed with a test result that the laymen can determine means they are immune. Which can be interpreted as I don’t need a vaccine , booster , or masks/social distance.
It lines up with the reluctance of the government to accept natural immunity determined by antibody levels as a valid indicator of protection from Covid and the vaccine obsession.

I think it’s ridiculous and disappointing but that’s what I see.

1.
At-home and point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tests for use with or without a prescription and that can be manufactured in high volumes;

2.
Certain lab-based and POC high volume antibody tests that can measure the amount of antibodies (fully quantitative antibody tests) or the amount of neutralizing antibodies; and

Am I way off?
