lumber prices roaring again. Futures are up to about $1200. Last May they peaked at a record high of $1600 before falling back down to below $500 last summer. This run up is starting much earlier than it did last year going into the spring building season. Could well be that another new record will be made if mortgage rates don't get out of hand.
