One thing on your list, Sofusa, that I find surprising is why there isn't a full court press on it. My research last year indicated that a change in the method of delivery would extend patents. Not 100% confirmed but leaning strongly in that direction. They are slow walking it for just pain relief for some reason. The internal application for patent says they have come across some finding that they are more interested in keeping close to the vest than exploiting at this time.
