I found out the hard way how the bid and ask and limit worked. My very 1st purchase of this stock 4 years ago I thought share price was .08. So I bought about 80,000 shares. I only got 14,000 for .08 and the balance for .19. I never put a limit in. No sooner than that trade went through price dropped instantly back to .08. It took over a year for it to finally get back up to .19.
