I visited Illegal Burger and Kalaka Mexican Kitchen in October in Colorado.... Here is what I posted in Oct on the WCVC board....


Here is the WCVC, Illegal Burger, Kalaka Mexican Kitchen report from Evergreen, Colorado.

I am in the Colorado Springs, Breckenridge area delivering paintings to collectors. We are also going visit my brother in Steamboat Springs and our son in Salt Lake City.

But, today after business, my wife and I dropped into Kalaka Mexican Kitchen and Illegal Burger which are two separate restaurants but are connected with a walk through area so you can go back and forth.

We ate our main meal at Illegal Burger and I have to say, we thought it was very good. The burger was perfect the french fries were great and the milk shake was superb!

On the way out we ordered an enchilada from Kalaka and ate it later when we stopped at our hotel. And it was perfect also!

Sooooooooo, the food was great and the atmosphere was great and we think that these have a good chance to be franchised if that is the plan!

As far as WCVC becoming current... I am waiting and I did not sell a shell! I have patience!
