Correct B Nano-Catholyte is not a solvent it's a surfactant with infused Nanobubbles. Those bubbles are gaseous. They currently are using nitrogen but they could do field testing with any other gas like CO2 or other gases.

Oil and water do not mix well if at all. In oil sands, if you add a solvent in it will break down the soil in the sands allowing the oil to be recovered. Looking at the Petroteg system it looks like after the sands are broken down and the oil is recovered their system can recover the clean sands.

Catholyte-Free is a surfactant which lowers the surface tension of the water holding the oil back in the fractions of the formation. Once the surface tension is lowered the oil is released and can be recovered. Catholite-Free is also environmentally friendly. Nanobubbles allows the Catholyte-free to penetrate into the smallest of the formation fractions.

The first thing I noticed from Petroteg Tech is the complexity of the system. An elaborate infrastructure needs to be in place which looks to be costly. This system might work well vs SAGT for oil sands however for stripper wells it would add too much per BBL. From what we've seen and heard Nano-Catholyte can be trucked in or the system can be placed on a skid and moved to other locations as needed. No infrastructure is
needed. CO2 and Steam EOR also need infrastructure in place.

Just with the cost of infrastructure steam and CO2 EOR can add 25-50 to the cost of oil recovery per BBL. PCTL/Nanogas's patent-pending technique I'm sure is much less costly per BBL which makes it the perfect EOR for the over 700K stripper wells in the U.S

This doesn't even consider Nano-Hydrolyte for H2S toxicity remediation, Downhole bacteria control.

The same type of clogging in wells happens in pipelines.

I wonder if Catholyte free followed by a plug followed by Hydrolyte can clean pipelines.

I don't see any competition from Petroteg.
