Doubt it. The hedgies own massive stakes in most networks and papers. They've been actively suppressing plenty of info related to the meme stocks.

If you can't beat em head on just act like they don't exist. Same tactics are used in presidential races. I remember when Ron Paul was shaking things up so they just stopped mentioning him to insure that Romney received the nomination.
