imo the 30 yo's have Ego issues ... that is to say in the virtual or fantasy world goals are much easier to attain and they can actually feel important - Its a distortion of reality. I game and cant stop ... and much software nowadays is free or very low cost to initially engage in. That's when the Software Company monetizes you in several different ways.

For example one game I play is WoT World of Tanks, Perhaps I took to it because im retired military. (Active Duty Army x 20 years) In world of tanks you can pay real money for "skins". That is where when you pay real money for a new skin your tank will have a new and different "look" to it. All the stats of vehicle are unaffected, just look. It's saying to other gamers "smell me".

By the way if you have Netflix you should watch the flick called "The Social Dilemma".

The opening line reads like: "Only two businesses refer to their clients/customers as "Users". The drug business and software industry.
