Being vaxed doesn't prevent you from getting it. It reduces the severity. I just had Covid and had the Pfiser vax. 2-3 days of real mild symptoms. This strain will probably be the one that fizzles out the pandemic. It's highly contagious but weak as it has been mutating. This will introduce an immune response in more people creating more of the herd immunity.

And no you are not immune if you have had Covid. Just like you aren't immune to a cold after you get it.
