The Dumbra business plan makes zero sense. These acquisitions UATG has made make zero sense because he’s bought all these different businesses that don’t have any real synergies. Seriously, what synergies are there between creams and lotions in The Dreaming Company, and water purification for UATG’s H20 Processing company? And what synergies are there between the H2O Processing and Nextcast? The reality is there aren’t any synergies between these companies, and these companies don’t compliment each other in any way simply because the companies are in totally different industries and with different target markets. Can’t be an expert in everything and IMO it was a huge mistake for Alex to make acquisitions that aren’t complimentary and synergistic with one another. Hard to compete in water purification for example, when you have competitors who do water purification exclusively, and have much deeper pockets and technology to compete. Umbra has no focus and is spread too thin. Can’t be in the body cream business, the water purification business, the orthopedics business, the advertising business, the medical diagnostic business, etc etc and be successful. Can’t execute efficiently all those completely different businesses because it’s a business model of failure. When you try and do too much, you won’t do anything very well.
