We have said no to all, as the content they host is outdated expensive and most people have Netflix type subscriptions and download before they fly. Their revenue models don’t add up, as passengers on low cost airlines won’t pay to watch content. On retail we enable the airline to do that via their own app, so they don’t need a wifi box.
I should note that in October 2019 airfi announcement that they were going to enable Atlantic Airways with Iridium on the product call LEO. (A good example of vapourware). They had to retract the original announcement as they are not an Iridium developer. Iridium responded with a comment that they had no idea what Airfi was talking about. What they stated they were going to do was not technically possible.
On Pivotel and Sky5, being in Australia I can tell you that concept failed years ago which is why Qantas and Virgin both have wifi satellite broadband. Doesn’t add up on a major airline so a regional minor airline isn’t going to make it work.
I will provide you a bit more insight on the difference between what we do, versus all wifi platforms.
