I've endured numerous reverse splits in pinkie land, since playing there for the last 10 years, especially back then when every sub penny stock was corrupt. But I have yet to figure out if it's better for an investor, and I use that term loosely when talking otc, that the company immediately perform the rs when announcing the plan, or waiting to split, causing "investors" to have to figure out if n when the action will take place.

I do know for a fact that the stock is usually shorted the day its acted on, which means 4's you buy today could be bought for a fraction post split.
