Nio CEO on New Sedan, Chip Shortage, Delisting Risks

Chinese EV maker Nio unveiled its second sedan ET5, which will compete more directly against Tesla’s most popular Model 3. Nio also gave a road map of its international expansion on the Nio Day event this Saturday, announcing plans to enter Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden in 2022, and reach 25 countries by 2025. It also seeks access to the U.S. market. CEO William Li discusses the new sedan launch, global chip shortage, delisting risks, and the company's global expansion strategy in an exclusive interview with Bloomberg's Charlie Zhu.
