Baltia Air Lines: Real or not?

I have read several posts that people claim that BLTA is a scam and will never launch their airline. The loudest one was Stock Patrol. We now know that that site is run by a disbarred New York attorney, convicted of stock fraud and perjury. The site is suspected of alleged stock short-selling scam.

It is true BLTA has been trying to launch their airline for years. They could not raise the required funding. Supposedly, they had bad luck with some financial dealings, and obtaining funds for a New York - Russia airline has been just about impossible since 9-11 over 5 years ago. 2007 is supposed to be a good year for the airline industry, so hopefully the climate has changed.

Let's take a good look at BLTA and the characteristics of bad companies.

Bad companies have Billions of shares Outstanding (endless dilution).
BLTA has 97.8 million. Float is 43.6 million.

Bad companies change their business plan regularly.
BLTA has always had the same dream of launching an airline.

Bad companies quit filing with SEC.
BLTA is fully compliant with the SEC. For years they have gone thru the time, effort and expense of filing SEC Documents. They did briefly once go to PinkSheets, but got relisted to BB.

Bad companies ignore their stockholders.
BLTA efficiently and politely answered my questions when i recently called them.

Bad companies pump up their stock price for personal gain.
BLTA had been on a slow steady decline over the years. No wild spikes.

Bad companies issue fluff PR's.
BLTA puts out very few PR's, mostly SEC Filings. They did have a few MoneyTV programs, my computer will not load them, so I can not really comment on them.

Bad companies do reverse splits.
BLTA never has (that i am aware of).

BLTA has none of the bad qualities, but looks like a solid company giving a sincere effort to obtain funding to launch their airline.
