Fhfa still only has an acting director. I think nominating a permanent director has simply not been a priority since maxine waters and team delayed the calhoun nomination in order to get the infrastructure bill done the white house and to submit to doing nothing for a while but at this point my understanding is thompson’s approach to turning her acting seat to a perm seat …

Well. So i am hoping that wh nominates calhoun still and believe that it could happen anyday and have believed that for about a month now and maybe two or three if you count me thinking infrastructure would have been done already

I am curious to see if we get kabooms like this before christmas. Feels to me like this is the last week of the year to do business

The next two get eaten by the holidays for enough people to be meaningless for expecting to get stuff done.

Otherwise, we could be dead in the water if they do not prioritize this and push it until after the midterms
