Several of the share purchases I've made over the months have filled the same way, a bunch of small lots and several for under my bid.

That happens when somebody enters a sell for under the bid likely from wanting to just get out.

I've done that myself when a pps is dropping like a rock, Enter a price well below the bid just to unload and the MM algorithm will pick em' off and hand out the candy.
