To leave enough swill in the trough for Leo to swill, of course. We’ve already heard from loanranger how Leo has been pulling not just his outrageously high salary but back pay too.

You can’t pay for a proper clinical study and pull down a few million for yourself at the same time.

So instead run an underpowered study extremely slowly while paying yourself and tipping your toxic finance buddies the wink about the trial failure (wonder if Leo got a backhander for that?) so they can cash in their cheap shares before the inevitable crash.

As for the FDA, they give advice about studies, but the sponsors don’t have to take that advice.

I’ll bet a cent to a dollar they told Leo that the study needed to be bigger but he ignored that advice.
