I turned more attention to some cryptos and own around 20 of them but even crypto is getting hammered. Most of mine are micros well under a penny and some .70 (bought at .54) like CRO the Laker's new arena native coin from crypto.com. All funded with penny stock profits.
I learned a lesson in the late 90's when the market tanked and I had $50,000 that went to $250,000 and then down to $15,000. Ouch! I had capital gains taxes to pay as well. I was all in and re-invested all then.
This time around I have a huge chunk of cash made in those three months which I will never put back in the market and still more cash to play when the market loosens up. Also all my penny plays are now in Roth IRAs I opened in the early 2000s, after my late 90s debacle, so I have no taxes to pay. I stil own 130 penny plays, 50 halted at the moment, thanks to our wonderful SEC. :(. I am hoping GVSI and some others come back. If some sink low enough I may add but I am watching way more than playing.
