Anyone getting to new highs lately ?
My stocks have been overall down 20%-25% over the last month or so. I have now lost back 80% of my gains for the year since May. Fortunately still up 25% for the year, but what a beating ! This kind of brutality, while major indexes flirt with new all time highs almost daily, is exactly why I've taken almost all cash out of the market. No way do I want to play with much in a market so irrational.
The following stocks have acted like we're in a recession
LC, down 38% in a few weeks, yet selling at a PE of 19 going forward, with earnings growth expected to be 40%+ the next two years !
HZNP, down 15% in a month or so, yet selling for a 15 PE, with earnings and revenue growth expected to be 30%+ for the next 3 years !
These are super solid mid cap stocks, that are both acting like we're in a recession.
