Clover Health Investments Corp (CLOV)

Some quick math here on CLOV. With the $300 million dollar placement @ $5.75/share that adds another 52.2 million shares to the total number of O/S shares. My brokerage has CLOV @ 472.8 million shares, add in the 52.2 million shares and the new total number of O/S is 525 million. Looking at short interest, I see as of yesterday, a short interest at almost 32 million shares. If I take the short interest and divide by the total number of outstanding shares I come up with about 6 %. In my opinion, 6 % is not heavily shorted as some here have suggested. I do believe that the games are afoot here though. One might also argue that there are shares that are naked shorted. I don't know how to reconcile for that, if that even exists here.
